This is where I keep a list of all the books I am reading in 2025.

This year, I aim to read more books by authors from India and Asia.

January

I had mixed feelings after reading The Vegetarian. The story revolves around a woman with underlying mental issues and the failure of those around her to understand and cope with her struggles. Sometimes, it isn’t clear what people may be experiencing when we judge them on the surface. This was my favorite read this month because it resonated long after I finished the book, prompting deep soul-searching.

February

My favorite read in February was “All the Pretty Horses.” It was a beautifully simple book that explored the author’s love of the American West. Reading it reminded me of old Westerns, and a story of love lies at the book’s heart.

March

My favorite read in March was Iron Widow. The story itself wasn’t very original - as it blended “The Handmaid’s Tale” with “Pacific Rim”. Nevertheless, the story was fun and fast-paced, and reading a sci-fi novel for a change was good fun.
