Here is a list of books that I currently read, have read, or plan on reading -

I was away on vacation in the early part of December. Nevertheless, I still managed to squeeze in 4 books - all audiobooks. My favorite this month was the autobiography of Patrick Stewart. As a fan of Star Trek, it was fascinating to read about his life and his break into acting.
The Comfort Crisis - Michael Easter
As November approaches, I realize I have not read any self-help books this month. Nevertheless, two books were excellent reads this month. Maya Angelou’s biography and James McBride’s story about a bumbling handyman set in the Bronx. Both books had moments of hilarity and, at the same time, beautifully conveyed a bygone time.
I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings - Maya Angelou ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I did read a lot of books in October. However, none stood out as five-star reads.
I did like Die With Zero, and its message was something that I needed to hear.
This was a vacation month, and I didn’t commit to many books. However, I enjoyed Phil Knight’s memoir on how he started Nike. I had always taken Nike’s inception and rise to dominance for granted and never considered the required hard work and perseverance. It was a thought-provoking and inspirational read.
I also enjoyed reading Whole Again by Jackson McKenzie and learned much from that book.
